ProfileDr. Ana B. Amaya is a specialist in global health policy whose research examines multi-level governance for health with a focus on understanding the impact of new global health institutions on the health systems of low- and middle- income countries.
Originally from El Salvador, Dr. Amaya has worked for several international organizations and universities around the world and conducted fieldwork in Africa, Europe and Latin America, collaborating with partners from different disciplines and sectors. She is currently Associate Professor at Pace University, with appointments at the United Nations University (UNU-CRIS) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. |
